Oil Can Harry: 30th Anniversary Reunion

Thirty years. A lot of miles. A lot of stories. And plenty of gas left in the tank.

Oil Can Harry is celebrating its 30th anniversary the only way that makes sense: by turning up the lights, firing up the amplifiers, and bringing the full Oil Can Harry experience back to Wisconsin stages.

Formed in 1997, Oil Can Harry built its reputation one show at a time across Wisconsin and the Midwest. Clubs, festivals, county fairs, fireman's picnics, community celebrations, and special events all became part of the journey. Along the way, the band earned the 2010 WAMI Cover Band of the Year award and made multiple Summerfest appearances, but the real story has always been what happened when the band stepped onstage.

An Oil Can Harry show is built around songs people know, strong lead vocals, live harmonies, and a set designed to keep the crowd involved. It is rock and pop with personality, delivered with the kind of energy that gets people out of their seats, onto the dance floor, singing along, and occasionally acting like Monday morning is someone else’s problem.

This is not background music. It is a full live-show atmosphere with concert-style sound, lights, crowd interaction, and a band that understands the audience is part of the experience.

For the 30th-anniversary reunion, Oil Can Harry is bringing back the five-member lineup from the band’s award-winning, multi-Summerfest 2010-2016 era. Together again for the first time since 2016, the band is reconnecting with the songs, chemistry, humor, and audience-first approach that made those years so memorable.
